Special/favorite moment of your day?
My favorite moment of the day would have to be when I first stepped out of the doors from Olde Breton Inn to walk down the aisle. My husband and I decided not to do a first look, so seeing him standing at the end of the aisle was a moment I will never forget.
Best memory of the day?
It is so hard to choose! Everything went so perfectly. I would have to say I loved how much time we got to spend together and with our guests. Unfortunately it started raining right after the ceremony, but it worked out perfectly because we quickly took pictures and then we were able to spend the rest of the cocktail hour talking with our family and friends. We also got to spend a majority of the reception dancing and having a blast! I was so worried about the rain at first but it all worked out for the best!

Why did you choose the dress you picked?
I chose my dress because it made me feel beautiful the minute I put it on. I was looking for a mermaid style dress with big lace accents. I tried on a few dresses that were also beautiful, but the minute I put mine on I knew it was the one.

A few sentences about your wedding?
Our wedding was the most perfect day thanks to Serendipity Bridal, especially Janice and Jessica. They were there for me from day one and always made me feel comfortable and confident. They helped me every step of the way to plan the most beautiful wedding. They were so helpful and caring and I could not imagine how things would have been without them!

How did you and your groom meet?
We met at Great Mills High School in 2016. Andre was on his 2nd year of teaching PE & Health and I just started my 1st year teaching Art. Andre was a football coach and I was the new cheerleading coach. It all seemed like such a cliché! We started out as a great friends, but we couldn't deny the chemistry we had and officially started day in February of 2017.

How did your groom propose?
Andre proposed July 31st, 2021 in Savannah, Georgia. We visit Savannah regularly since Andre's mom moved there. Every time we visit, we go to Wormsloe State Park to take a picture. We wanted to keep the tradition going and this time Andre said to dress nice because we were going to dinner afterwards. Andre's mom snapped a few pictures of us and I thought everything was normal until Andre got on one knee and proposed. I was completely surprised and I love that Andre's mom captured the entire proposal!

Advice to bride planning her wedding.
Get a wedding planner if you have the means to! Janice and Jessica were amazing and walked me through every step of the day before hand. They asked me questions that I would have never thought of if I were planning the wedding on my own. They also gave me ideas that I couldn't have come up with by myself and never made me feel pressured to do anything that I wasn't comfortable with. They made it possible to not have any worries about my wedding day so that we could purely focus on enjoying every minute. I am so grateful for all they did and I know it wouldn't have been as amazing as it was without them!

What favorite part/thing/experience about shopping with Serendipity?
I went to two bridal shops before going to Serendipity. Once I was there I immediately knew Serendipity was going to be where I got my dress because of how they made me feel. They were all so welcoming, helpful, kind, and made the experience of picking out my dress so easy and fun! My fiance also got his tux at Serendipity as well as his groomsmen and he was so happy with how it turned out. We spent a lot of time at Serendipity since Janice & Jessica were our wedding planners, and I could not say enough kind things about them and everyone at Serendipity who helped us. I am so happy we chose Serendipity and I would highly recommend it to anyone!
