1. Special moment of your day?

A special moment for us was during our bridal party photos we popped bottles of champagne. We did this for our engagement photos which ended up being our save the dates. We wanted to recreate that with our bridal party. However, it was so hot when we de-corked the champagne it exploded spraying over everyone. It was really funny and to see all of our best friends standing around us cheering and laughing was such a special moment. Those are photos we will cherish forever.

2. Favorite Moment of Day?

Aside from actually getting married, one of our favorite memories of the day was reading our vows. We opted for traditional vows and not to read our own vows for the ceremony. We also passed on the first look, Keith wanted to see me for the first time walking down the aisle so we had my MOH swap our wedding gifts and vow books which we both read privately. This was one of my favorite moments because as I read Keith's vows I realized we had wrote almost word for word the exact same things!

3. Best memory of the day?

One of the best memories of the day was after we cut our cake we just stood there and looked around. I remember us both saying how crazy it was this was all actually happening, and how special it was to see all of our family and friends in the same room, something that will probably never happen again.

4. Wedding Theme?

Color Black and White

5. Why did you choose the dress you picked?

This is actually a funny story. I tried on a lot of dresses and I am so thankful for the Serendipity girls who let me keeping trying on dresses until I found the one. My MIL pulled a dress and I remember saying "ugh, I don't love the sparkly pattern underneath, it looks like animal print", then my SIL pulled the same dress, I laughed it off saying "I just told my MIL I didn't like the pattern". Next thing I knew I went to try on another dress and here came my mom with that same exact dress my MIL and SIL already picked out. I figured I had to try it on at that point. Well, that was my wedding dress. As soon as I tried it on I knew, and once they put in the veil I felt my eyes fill of happy tears!

6. A few sentences about your wedding?

I still can't believe how quickly our wedding came and went. It was one of the best days of our lives. We are so grateful for our parents who made it all happen and made sure we had everything we wanted. We both had been in and to a lot of weddings so we wanted things that were very unique to us. We had a 12ft. marquee sign with our last name, Well Crafted Pizza Kitchen catered our dinner with a vintage 1949 Dodge wood-fired pizza truck, a hot sauce bar, Silver City mobile taproom served handcrafted signature cocktails, our groomsmen wore custom snapbacks I designed, we had foam glow sticks with our wedding hashtag to keep the party going all night and a party bus to take everyone back to the hotel after the wedding. We definitely didn't let the thunderstorms rain on our parade!

7. How did you and your groom meet?
We met in 2011 on our first day of college at Marymount University, where we both were on the mens and women's lacrosse teams - it was an instant attraction, however we ended up dating other people and following our own paths. We reconnected in 2019 an officially started dating - the rest is history!

8. How did your groom propose?
Keith pulled off the ultimate surprise proposal. I thought I was just going to a winery with my girl friends to celebrate my 28th birthday. After the winery the plan was to go back to our house for a bonfire with the boys.
Once we got back to the house I walked in the front door to a surprise birthday party! All of our local friends and Keith's family was there to celebrate. Well, so I thought.

Keith had a few more surprises! He had me sit down while he played a video he put together. Everyone else went outside as I watched all of my close friends and family one by one count down the days leading up to the proposal. As the video finished playing all of those friends and family walked in the door. My mom and dad walked me out back for the final surprise. Keith was standing there surrounded by both of our families and friends. A beautiful set-up of rose petals, candles, string lights, sparklers and the perfect song "Boyfriend" by Hardy playing over the speakers. Keith got down on one knee and asked me to spend the rest of our lives together. It was such a shock and overwhelming amount of emotions.

9. Advice to bride planning her wedding.

If I can give any other brides some advice it would be to not stress about the little things. I was a very type-a, multiple spreadsheets kind of bride, I planned for everything. It ended up raining on our big day, we couldn’t change the weather so we had to just roll with it. At that point in the day I had no expectations of all the little things I meticulously planned out because the plans were ever changing. I let our vendor team do what we hired them to do. Some things got missed or weren't in the exact place I intended but I can tell you nobody but you will notice, or even know what something was suppose to look like. Your guests do not have the same vision or expectations as you the bride does.

10. What favorite part/thing/experience about shopping with Serendipity?
From the first time I came into Serendipity I felt like a bride. My experience made the wedding process so much more real. Everyone who worked with us was so helpful in making sure my vision came to life. Even with our request for pick mis-match groomsmen suits Janice and Jessica helped us get the perfect shade of tan for the jackets. It really all came together so perfectly.
