Favorite moment of the day was seeing Nate up at the altar. We were both a mix of nervous and excited.
Best memory of the day?
The best memory was watching everything come together after all the time and effort we put into planning and perfecting every detail. We dedicated so much time to crafting the perfect day, and seeing our guests truly enjoy and appreciate all the thoughtful touches we’d carefully planned was incredibly special. It made all the hard work feel so worthwhile.

Why did you choose the dress you picked?
I knew I always wanted to try on this dress. It is the perfect mix of classy, elegant, and modern. The cat eye neckline is not one you see every day and really makes this dress a standout!
A few sentences about your wedding?
It was truly a magical day, filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable dancing. We were incredibly fortunate with the weather, which set the stage for a breathtaking ceremony right by the water. Our guests are still talking about how beautiful it was! Having all of our closest friends and family gathered in one place to celebrate us was an absolute dream. Since most of our guests were from out of town, it was such a special opportunity to share a glimpse of our life in Maryland and show them just how meaningful this place is to us.
How did you and your groom meet?
We met at work in Richmond, VA in 2019!
How did your groom propose?
He proposed in Virginia Beach, VA in August of 2023. Sunrises are my favorite part of each day and he had the perfect proposal set up down at the beach that morning!
Advice to bride planning her wedding.
Advice is, enjoy it. Don't sweat the small stuff because it will truly fly by!
What favorite part/thing/experience about shopping with Serendipity?
The level of service your team provides is unparalleled. I visited several bridal boutiques before my appointment at Serendipity, but none compared to the genuine care and attention I received. Each previous experience felt rushed and impersonal, leaving me feeling unnoticed.
When I arrived late to my first appointment due to an accident, your team welcomed my family with open arms as they patiently waited for me. Janice, you even went out of your way to bring toys for my niece, who wasn’t having the best day, and cheered her up! It’s thoughtful touches like this that truly made the experience memorable.
In addition, I was so touched by your in-house seamstress, who graciously agreed to alter my mother's dress just weeks before the wedding. That kindness meant the world to us.
It’s clear that you genuinely care about your clients and the work you do. I will wholeheartedly recommend Serendipity to anyone in search of a gown. This was, without a doubt, the best bridal experience I could have asked for.
